COC USB #2 installed and read-back verified
DFIR playbooks, case records, verified handoff and controlled generated-log retention. The staged suite passed 128 local Python tests; latest changed-file installation passed read-back. Real-evidence, GUI, live-query and separate lab acceptance remain scoped.

Phase 10 — Identity Services
Define the initial identity requirements, scope, dependencies and acceptance criteria, then select the simplest suitable approach before deployment. Phase 9 remains complete.

Follow the current Fortinet learning sequence. AWS Cloud Practitioner comes next; PortSwigger or picoCTF fit into remaining study time.
COC Engineering Program — Phase 9
Nextcloud 34.0.3 file access and sync is complete on Atlas, with Tailscale private access through a canonical HTTPS hostname and Caddy, tested Restic backup and database restore, Wazuh FIM alert validation, EICAR-tested ClamAV, working 2FA and outbound email, configured Windows 11 and Windows 10 clients, and successful reboot persistence. Galaxy S25 and Tab A11 Nextcloud onboarding are intentionally deferred and are not Phase 9 blockers. Phase 10 Identity Services is now the active primary build, beginning with scope and acceptance planning.

The Atlas laptop server has passed its pre-travel resilience milestone: clean reboot recovery, BIOS Wake on AC, battery-backed graceful shutdown logic, persistent networking and remote access, and automatic recovery of production containers. The operational milestone is closed, and the owner confirmed external SSH/remote-development acceptance. Additional evidence is optional follow-up.

Authenticated admin ticket management, server-side validation, security escalation and the full Submitted → In Progress → Resolved lifecycle are validated end to end. App retained; v0.3 AI troubleshooting remains later. Read the journal entry →
AWS starter cloud-engineering series
All five onboarding activities are complete: Budgets, secure EC2 lifecycle, human-reviewed Bedrock evaluation, Lambda web application work, and an IAM-authenticated Aurora PostgreSQL Serverless lab with verified cleanup. Read the engineering journal →

Project Atlas v1 resilience validation
Validated automatic boot after restored AC power, clean reboot recovery, a 35% battery-backed graceful shutdown threshold, persistent remote-access and networking services, automatic recovery of production Docker containers, Pi-hole health after restart, and a conservative automatic security-update policy. AWS Certified AI Practitioner
Passed the AIF-C01 exam after using the official blueprint and targeted practice review to close identified knowledge gaps. Read the journal entry →
Project Atlas v1 physical build
Completed the physical restoration, repairs, cleaning and maintenance, then reconciled the repository with the running Ubuntu Server platform. Read the journal entry →

This roadmap intentionally shows direction without exposing the private execution queue.
Family IT Help Desk v0.3
Optional bounded Bedrock troubleshooting remains a later enhancement. Security-sensitive or high-priority issues will bypass AI, and the completed conventional help desk remains independent of AI.
Phase 10 — Identity Services
Start with scope and acceptance planning, then implement and validate the agreed build.
Fortinet NSE 1 → NSE 2 → NSE 3
Complete the online Fortinet path first; use any remaining study time for PortSwigger or picoCTF.
Atlas evidence follow-up
Capture additional validation and documentation when useful; the operational milestone is complete.
AWS Cloud Practitioner
Resume the AWS certification roadmap after the Fortinet learning block.
Detection and response depth
Continue building detection engineering, threat-hunting, incident-response and digital-forensics capability.
Identity and cloud security
Develop more practical identity, Active Directory and AWS security experience alongside the lab.
